chris20 is on a distinguished road
I am running a LES on a non-conformal mesh in ANSYS FLUENT 12 in parallel processing mode. Simple UDFs for inflow profiles are involved.
After a few thousand iterations, the simulations crashed and the error message was:
stack backtrace generated for node id ...
primitive error at node ...: received segmentation violation

When I now try to restart the simulations, the UDFs (though still in the same directory) are not found anymore and have to be complied again and the simulations crash immediately with the same error messages as above.

This happens when I (re)start the simulation from the original cas-file (i.e. those starting from iteration 0 which was already running for a few thousand iterations), or when I try to continue from a cas-file with xyz iterations. I also tried different processors, but the problem remains.
