Hi,
I am new to CFD modelling and was facing a few problems with using fluent. I am modelling a T-joint mixer where two streams come in from the ends and mix at the junction and leave from the third. I know that my flow is laminar everywhere except near the junction where it is turbulent due to mixing of streams. What viscous model should I choose laminar or K-epsilon model?? And if I should choose K-epsilon model can you please tell which subcategory among those should I choose. I have has a look at fluent documentation but it was not really helpful. Any help is appreciated. Thanx in advance!!

Dear sarsam
you should use a turbulence model. you can use k-epsilon or k-omega. if you choose k-epsion model, its better that choose standard. Dont worry! laminar flow can solve by turbulent model.
