tangential, axial and radial velocity in swirling

3 Attachment(s)
Hi,
I have a swirling flow inside a hydrocyclone, the simulation aimed to measure the tangential, axial and radial velocity magnitude.
I got the counters and planned view of the velocity counters but couldn’t know how to analysis it to tangential, axial and radial velocity.
Can anyone assist me please?

Hi Al-Hashimi

For analysis of scalars and vectors, you need to analyse it on some lines. Does this problem belong to some research paper? ............. I guess it is! If this is true go through that paper, especially result and discussion part, and see that at what axial stations (i.e., at what heights) the scalar and vectors are measured. For that you need to go to Plots ---> xy plot. There you have to analyse the parameters of your interest.

Best wishes.
Ravi.
