As I wanted to reduce my domain, I performed initial simulations for whole domain and obtained the results/values at certain planes. Then I cut the domain at that planes. I am using density based solver. Earlier the boundary conditions were pressure inlet and pressure outlet. As I wanted to give boundary layer profile at the inlet, I have given velocity inlet boundary condition. AFAIK that velocity inlet BC is not good for density based solver.

1. Is the BC good for density based solver?
2. If not, is there any way to give boundary layer profile at the inlet?

PS: When I use FMG initialization, I was getting NAN.

Found a solution. One way you can give boundary layer is by giving PROFILES (located on boundary conditions page). You can generate an ASCII file from previous simulation and then use the generated values. For compressible flow, you need to give total pressure, k , ephsilon/omega.
