Modelling wooden pellet combustion in Fluent

Hello,

It seems in the modeling of pelletized furnace the constructing appropriate bed model to calculates the temperature, species and velocity at the top of the fuel bed is the crucial step. I found that you expert in field of biomass combustion modelling. As you know the combustion of solid biomass consist of the following steps.

1-moisture evaporation model
2-3 Biomass : Volatiles (Cm Hn; CO; H2; CO2; O2 . . )+ Char
4- char oxidization

At this time as I am a beginner I would like to employ only fluent models (species) Without using UDF. what is the basic set up for fluent (solid, gas material & properties and transport & reaction models) in order to consider those phenomena effectively.

I would be sincerely appreciate in advance for your time and consideration

:)
