problem in water motion in fluent

Hello friends.
Please help.
I am modeling a 3d channel with a step in middle.
I want to know, how can i view the water motion?
In volume fraction contour, it seems the water can not jump over the ramp but in pathlines it seems ok.
The slip of channel and velocity of water are appropriate for jump.
Thanks

have you tried the animation setup???

Yes i did it with pulse in pathlines but in volume fraction i think the water goes inside the ramp and it can not jump over the ramp.
Which postprocess of fluent show clear motion of water in model?
Pathlines? streamlines or volume fraction?

go to display/pathline/select continuous palse mode.
be success

How to make a Linear stratification in Fluent ?

Hi all

I am using ANSYS-FLUENT as a simulation software. I want to know how to create a fluid with density varying linearly with height.

Looking for an earliest reply.

Thanks
