Geometry BC's for coupled DPM water spray in closed container of air

I'm trying to simulate a full cone injection of water sprayed into a tank of air.

At the moment I'm modelling in 2d axis-symmetric, simple box geometry (400x400mm), all sides are set to Wall BC's except for a small opening in the upper right surface (12mm) which is set to pressure outet. Bottom edge is set to axis BC, and spray injected into bottom left corner.

Before any water is injected the air is at rest, and so I have not included any type of inlet for the continuous phase. Is this acceptable for this type of model?

Any thoughts, experience or info that you may have would be very helpful.

Thank you
