Hi guys and gals,

Please correct me if I am wrong. I have some understanding to clear out.

As I understand, SIMPLE is not a transient iteration. The method uses time marching but is not really time marching but it is just iterating.

So in FLUENT when I turn on the transient option, what actually happens to the method? How does it adjust to time march?

And if I save animation in the transient option, is each time step physically accurate?
