Hello,
I am trying to run a batch file on LINUX but I need to know the total CPU time and preferably the time per iteration. I know several different TUI commands to display CPU times; however, I don't know how to view this data after closing FLUENT. 1) Is there a way to view total elapsed time, etc., after closing FLUENT?? (Is it saved in the .dat.gz file?) 2) Is there a way to print everything that's displayed in the command window to a file?? That would allow me to use TUI commands in my journal file and view them after. Thanks. |

Are you running Fluent in parallel? If yes, you can start a transcript from a journal file and log the CPU usage at the end (/parallel/timer/usage). Here is an example of a journal:
Code:
file confirm-overwrite? no file start-transcript "outputfile.txt" file read-case "case.cas" solve initialize hyb-initialization solve dual-time-iterate 5 1000 parallel timer usage file stop-transcript exit yes Last edited by macfly; July 31, 2013 at 23:08. |
