flow_CH is on a distinguished road
Hello.

I am new user in CFD and fluent.
I am modeling an 3d open channel flow.
I have a velocity inlet with velocity= 4m/s. In initial panel, with choosing compute from that boundary(with velocity inlet), fluent writes x velocity= 4m/s. Then after initialization and before iterate, i have velocity vectors in whole of channel= 4m/s.
I want to know what is effect of initialization in end results? Is there effect in end results If i write 0 m/s in initial panel for x velocity?
Thanks
