Hi all ,
Something weird was going on fluent. I have been simulating heat exchanger (tube bank) problem. When setting the B.C's I set the temperature of the cylinders to 343.15 but after iterating to some residual when doing surface integral to the cylinder to just check the temperature THE TEMPRATURE OF THE CYLINDERS WAS NOT AS I SET AS A BOUNDARY CONDITION !!!!!

please reply if you know the solution

I thought that maybe there are not enough nodes on the surface of the cylinders but as I increased the nodes the difference still huge (like 25c)

vasava will become famous soon enough
Did your case converge properly? Put some pictures of the mesh and temperature distribution.

yes, it might not yet converged properly.!

Check the result after obtaining some convergence.

Hi
I tried to do a sanpshot of all thing. All the residuals are belowe 10-7 and still the specified bounddary condition doesnt match with the computed one

Have a look at the definition of the total temperature in fluent.
Then evaluate the static temperature instead.
