Default Error during IC geometry decomposition?

Hi All,
I've been working to learn the Fluent IC program, but have encountered some problems.
I can get the geometry to compile, but there are numerous operations in the tree that say there are no faces selected for them (First Picture). The "geometry" tab of the workbench doesn't move on to the green check mark unless I delete all of these empty operations. Also, when I look at the solver setup, at the valve and piston motion graphs, they only show one value, and not a cycle. What could be causing this? Is my valve motion profile setup correctly? My engine has crossflow setup, so both valves are initially displaced a certain amount. Is that affecting anything?
Thanks, Erik
