I am trying to design a submerged jet impingement cooling of a plate. The details of the problem can be found at

Please refer fig1 and fig2.
  • It is mentioned that the heat flux of 25 W/cm^2 is supplied to the bottom plate.
  • The flow is driven by the pressure difference between the inlet and the outlet and the pressure drop is defined as 20 Pa.
  • Now later they mention that "In order to maintain constant pressure drop from inlet to outlet, the dimensions are subjected to the constant total volume flow rate, 10 liter per hour. The inlet radius in r is chosen as the design variable and the outlet dimension is calculated accordingly."

Now my question is as follows:
1. How to get the outlet dimensions from the given information.
2. How to specify the 20 Pa pressure drop in the boundary condition.
