In order to check the modulation capability in fluent I need to know if Fluent is useable for simulate heat expansion of solid materials (like metals)
1. Usually Solids expand when getting warm, does Fluent simulate pressures and forces between cells, cellzones and regions which are in contact? 2. Is there the capability to simulate the growth of length for a solid material? I've done some projects in Fluent, but I couldn't answer this question (from a coworker). Has someone checked the possibility or even establish a simultion including heat expanding? |
