Hi all,
I'm trying to get a map of temperature (and wall shear stress) in a plane in my domain and I was wondering if someone can guide me on that. Technically, I'm trying to make a figure similar to the attached figure. Meshing resolution is exactly the same as actual meshing in the domain. Assuming that I have the average value Tw_bar, I want to indicate faces that have larger temperature than that. I would appreciate the help. Cheers, Negin |

I know there is FSI mapping option, but its confusing that I need to input the mesh from another software.
I just need to use the same mesh resolution in that plane.. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers, Negin |

In the "Graphics and animations" section, go to "colormap" and set the currently defined palette to gray. Additionally, set the colormap size to 2.
Now when plotting the contour, select "filled" and deselect the "node values" option. If necessary, you can also tick "draw mesh". If this is still not retro enough, you can play around with the coloring of the "save picture" menu. |
