Hello!

I am an engineering student, fairly new to CFD. For a project, for my rocket aerodynamics class, I have to characterize the separation phase of Starship and Super Heavy Booster. I have tried to set up my 2D analysis with an imported STEP file, but I cannot seem to make the calculations converge.

It is worth mentioning that my analysis takes place in a very low, almost zero pressure and densisty of atmosphere so that may cause some issues...

Can anyone tell me about how to set up the solver correctly if even possible? I've seen someone talk about a coupled solver for example, but I am unsure as to what that entails.

I used CFD today "Supersonic Compressible Flow Simulation over Bullet with the help of ANSYS Fluent" on youtube as reference for how to set it up in 2D. (Haven't tried 3D yet).

PS: My teachers aren't available at the moment FIY.
