Hi
i'm a aeronautical engineering student and i'm trying to replicate the article set below (Aerodynamic study of theater ballistic missile target http://www.sciencedirect.com/science...70963811001957). i'm doing exactly the same conditions except the mesh, that's because i'm a beginner in ANSYS- fluent and i'm meshing with the tool of the module fluid-flow-fluent. i'm trying to make a non-structural mesh with a cylindrical volume control. when i run the simulation, the calculation diverge and some kind of warnings appears (temperature limited to 5e+3 in # of cells on zone 2 or pressure limited to 1e+0, also something like high exchanges of temperature or something like that). i blame the mesh but his quality is good, (skewness around 0.94) and blame too the volume control dimensions. what can i do?, try to make the volume control more bigger? how much? or it's something wrong with the model or the simulation settings? i'm using spalart-allmaras and the same values of pressure and temperature of the article (mach number=2, P=23424.3 To=293.8). i'm using a half of the body, with a pressure farfield on all the boundary conditions, except, of course, the symmetry wall and the missile walls. Thanks so much for any suggestion. |
