Is Non premixed combusiton (flamelet model) in Fluent able to calculate laminar?

Hi guys,

I am wondering whether non-premixed combustion model in Fluent is able to calculate laminar diffusion flame or not.
According to equations in Fluent manual, non-premixed combustion model in Fluent is for turbulent.
If it is only aplicable for turbulent flow, is there any way to calculate laminar diffusion flame in Fluent by use of flamelet model (not finite reaction model)?
Thank you in advance

EDC Combustion model

Hi,

I am trying to simulate premixed combustion (Methane-Air) in a gas turbine combustor using 2 step chemistry in Eddy Dissipation Concept (EDC) Model. The peak temperature predicted by the model is around 2400 K, which is higher than the adiabatic flame temperature. Why is it occurring so? Can any one explain me?

Does anyone know how to use laminar flamelet model in Fluent?
