Hi friends, I am very new, I am solving the CPU cooling system by using different openings. In this case i have prepaired a 3D model and i have ran in FLUENT, at the time of solving in fluent i got an message like Turbulent viscosity limited to viscosity ratio of 1*10^5. Can any one tell me how to remove or solve the above mentioned message...?
thank you in advance with regards subhas |

in the boundary conditions you can raise up the viscosity ratio of your in-/outlet for example

I got this error after 45s of flow time (with 0.001 timestep) in my simulation today as well. At the same time, my Cl got to like -inf. Before this happened everything looked quite fine.
I assume something else caused the error (bad meshing on my 2D model?). Or is it normal to hit the limit of this ratio? Im simply modelling (2D) flow over 2 cylinders (where one can move). |
