I have to simulate the heat transfer occuring as a result of forcing air through the pipe of an Earth air heat exchanger tube. The surrounding soil is to be assumed as a heat sink .
What are the boundary conditions that i should use to correctly simulate this case ?

u can use velocity inlet for the air flow in the inlet side. i think so

Hi,

Have u able to sove your problem?.I have to solve the same kind of problem, but my heat exchanger is circulated with water. But, geometry would be the same. Can u tell me how you use boundary conditions?. Which solver u used for this.

Thanks
