Evaporation model in Fluent

Hi friends,
I'm doing a project, modeling evaporation refrigerant inside a pipe exchanger. I have some probleme. Does anyone know what is the Standard State Enthalpy in material properties? I compare Stadard state enthalpy for water liquid from fluent database with properties from books and tables, and there are different. They should be similar. Thanks in advance Peter |

Standard state enthalpy is the enthalpy formation of your fluid. For evaporation which occurs at constant temperature you need the enthalpy of vapor and of the liquid. The difference is the latent enthalpy which differs from the sensible one.
In Fluent we use the enthalpy in the entity J/kgmolK. With the molar mass you can find the most known one in KJ/KgK. |
