Hi all,, :)

i'm new in this CFD field
i learned of Fluent recently, because my i got the task from my lecturer, to make prototype and simulation on Fluent of one of Water turbine, ( Named : Water free vortex power plant, video link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jX-y1onGaGo ) so i got so many question to operate this program.

these, some of my questions :)

when we are testing in the field or Lab, we are just entering the water flow (Q) and then we can see the turbine rotation occurs.
1. whether we are able to determine the rotation of turbine (rpm) in Fluent, by entering only velocity inlet / water flow on boundary conditions (same as field/lab test) ?

2. also whether we can put the value of load on the shaft in Fluent, such as the load of generator that occur on shaft?

this the sketch of the turbine :

3. when the water rotate in the tank, it will occur whirlpool up to the base, whirlpool was made of air. how to create a vortex which is cotained air in the center of water rotating flow on Fluent,?

i'm sorry if my english bad :)

I am very grateful if anyone would help me.

my regards,
