Hey guys,
I would like to validate my results. In order to do this I would need to monitor the temperature at three different positions in my domain over time. I attached the setup of the experiement I'm refering to to this post. Does somebody know how to do this in Fluent? Would a life saver. Thanks in advance! Tom |

From the "surface" menu item, you can create points at the locations you need.
Then in the "monitors" tab on the left of the fluent GUI, you can create solution monitors evaluating the variables of interest at the location of the points created in the previous step. |

Great stuff, thanks a lot! Is it possible to export this data into an excel sheet?

Sure, while creating the monitor you can check the box "write to file".
You will get a space-separated text file that can be imported into excel. |
