hi every1,
I'm simulating the working of a rocket ignitor using ansys fluent simulating fluid flow, combustion and heat transfer. the solution is over with discretization in 2nd order and i have got almost correct results for combustion and heat transfer. In that ignitor the fluid is passing through a very small pass into the chamber. the problem is that when i look for the mass fractions of the fuel and oxidiser in that pass , i can see the leakage of fluid into the solid domain at the corners (imagine 2 concentric cylinders , the flow is taking place in between the gap of two cylinder, the gap is 1mm, closed at one end and open at other end). that fluid/flux leakage can be seen at the closed end upon zooming in that area after cutting a mid plane. what can be the possible causes of such error and how it can be rectified? the total domain is quite small, 70 mm in length and 40 mm in dia. any help is highly appreciable
