Forces on iso-surface

Hi guys,

I need to know how to calculate forces on a iso-surface or clip-surface in fluent. The only option in the forces menu are the wall type surfaces, there's no option to create a user specified area.

Is there a way to do that?

Any suggestion will be much appreciated. Thanks a lot!

No, nobody has answered.

I think it's a big limitation of Fluent not to allow this kind of post-calculation. So I think there must be a way to do it, otherwise I'll have to repeat my calculation with a new part defined where I want the forces to be computed.

Anybody knows how to compute forces or coefficients in a desired area that is not a named part?

Thanks!
