Hello everyone,
I have a question about Fluent monitors. In a final of my problem solution, I would like to get such output variable (for example): (Pressure-in - Pressure-out) / Pressure-in. Moreover, I would like to track the convergence of this variable in a process of solving. In CFX, I can get this by the next manner: DPP = (areaAve(Pressure)@Inlet - areaAve(Pressure)@Outlet) / areaAve(Pressure)@Inlet but I don't know, how can I do this in Fluent and is it possible in this program. Maybe anyone can help me. Thanks in advance. Best regards, Delcraft. |

Somebody posted something recently about Custom Field Functions (Fluent User's Guide 33.5). I haven't used these, so I can't vouch for them, but they may work for you.
See 28.16 in the User's Guide for the Convergence Manager. |

Hello,
Thank you for your answers. As I know, it is impossible via Custom Field Functions. I tryed this and without any success. I hope that UDF can help me. But anyway, it doesn't seem a global problem
