Dear Friends,
I am a very recent entrant to the field of CFD. I am looking at modelling single particle combustion where a single solid wood/coal particle has a stream of hot air (1000K) flowing over it. Should I treat the solid sphere as a wall and then assign wood properties to that? I am not sure if this is the right way to go because then how would the volatiles ooze out? Sounds like a trivial question but, any help in this direction will be highly appreciated. Thanks and Regards Anand |
