Hi, I'm trying to carry out a conjugate heat transfer in fluent. I'm having issues in creating a shadow wall between the solid and fluid. Any ideas how to create a solid and fluid zone in the design modeller so as to create the shadow wall ? it's a 2d problem

Hi ruben,
if you need coupled walls (with shadow wall auto-creation and heat flux) in the pre-processing you have to put all the bodies in the same part in order to generate a conformal mesh. Otherwise, if you generate a non-conformal mesh, you have to define interfaces zones (but the first choice is usually the best). Best Regards
