Fluent Error after new installation (14.5.7)

Hello!

I just installed Fluent 14.5.7 on a quite old Windows machine, and I am encountering some problems. My guess is that it is a problem with the support of the rather bad hardware, or something seems to not be included after the installation.

When starting up fluent, there is a line in the fluent command box that says "No error handler available". This makes me believe that something was not included in the installation.
When checking the "cortexerror" text file in the working directory, it seems that fluent encountered an error but can't seem to print it out inside the program. The error is as follows:

"Error [cortex] [time 2/27/14 17:20:42] C:\PROGRA~1\ANSYSI~1\v145\fluent\fluent14.5.7\win6 4\2ddp\fl1457s received a fatal signal (SEGMENTATION VIOLATION)."

After having searched around a bit I have a feeling that this is caused by the computer lacking in memory.
Is this the case, or does anyone know what else this could be caused by?
Worth mentioning is that the machine is planned to be used to mostly execute very simple simulations, and as a gateway to perform more difficult simulations on a cluster.

Thanks in advance!
