Variable Velocity Inlet magnitude and direction
 

Hi everyone,
My name is Brendan and I am faced with a small issue when it comes to the velocity inlet for an airfoil simulation.
My goal is to have a stationary airfoil and mesh, from this I can apply the inlet and outlet boundary conditions. To determine the optimum angle of attack for that given inlet velocity I want to vary the "x" and "y" components, i.e. sin Y and cos x.
Is there any way to complete this so I can plot graphs to prove the findings????
It's out of self interest I am doing this so an help is greatly appreciated.
