Hi to all !

Im trying to run FLUENT 14 on two (and later on more) PCs having win64 bit. I have installed all MPIs as well. When i launch it with the option "Distributed memory on a cluster", it gives the following messages as shown sequentially in these pictures. I ignore first two messages by pressing OK and YES.

Please advise in this regard,

p.s. the ping command gives positive reply of network connectivity between the two PCs...

(Apologies if the problem above has been addressed elsewhere, in which case please provide me with a link to that thread )

I don't know the answers to your problem but I would disable windows firewalls on both machines even if the ping command works and make sure you have fluent installed on both machine, in the same directory; make sure you set system variables correctly.
Let us know if and how you solve the problem as I think I will set up a second pc to connect to my workstation.

actually i wond recommend doing that
the reason being if two pc are connected through lan then the resultant speed decreases becuase of the time data takes to transfer from one pc to another pc.

i have tried doing that several times but never succeeded.

thanks
shk

FLUENT 15.0 now runs for me with the option of "Distributed memory on a cluster", following above tutorial:
