Hi all,

Recently I've had a problem where due to single precision the pistons of the Stirling engine I'm modelling didn't return to their exact starting locations after one shaft revolution.

As a result, my starting point "moved" in time by about 107 time-steps.

Is there anyway I could make this point 0 (flow-time, time-step and iter. no.) while keeping the data?
I tried interpolating and (rpsetvar'flow-time 0.0) but didn't work.

After interpolating/reading the results the pressure values were wrong and rpsetvar reset the flow-time but kept the iteration count the same.

I would like to save snapshots of my solution every 250 time-steps and FLUENT saves at 250, 500, 750 etc while in my case it should now be smth like 357, 607, 857 etc which i cannot specify in the solution animation settings.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Best,

Type in the TUI:

solve montiors residual reset yes

or

save data file using Interpolation. Initialize the case and read the interpolated file.
