Tutorial.the mixture model and evaporation-condensation error

I include the files about this matter in the attachment.

I’m studying mixture model of multi-phase model for boiling bubble growth analysis.
So I practised the tutorial(heat and mass transfer with the mixture model and evaporation-condensation model). but the results I got seem not so reasonable.

The result figure I got is not symmetric while the tutorial result is.


May anyone tell me how to correct this? Thank you very much.

Hi man,

I think your results are within expectation as it cannot be in total symmetric for problems like this. If you got perfect fine meshes or good initialization, you might have symmetric results.

By the way, if you apply mixture model, you should be able to replace "udf" with the built-in "evaporation-condensation" models. is that right?

Hi
I'm trying to simulate thermosyphon. But when the UDF read, and I want to run, the following error was printed!
please help



FLUENT received fatal signal (ACCESS_VIOLATION)
1. Note exact events leading to error.
2. Save case/data under new name.
3. Exit program and restart to continue.
4. Report error to your distributor.
