cooler heat input

Hi,

I need to input negative heat flux for the cooler. But unfortunately the simulation produces erratic results. when i give very low temperature as input is works fine. but my input has to be given in terms of heat flux.

Can anyone suggest on how to input negative heat flux?

Hello DineshramBalaji,
can you post some picture of your problem? what kind of wrong results the simulation gives you?

hi agree with DineshramBalaji
it's better you post or give some mor details

Hi,

my total heat input is 350 W/m2 through the seven servers at the top. I needed to cool off the entire heat using the cooler at the bottom. So I gave -350 W/m2 as cooler input. it is a recycling air, so there is no inlet or outlet. The operating temperature is 295 K. But the static temperature contour plot is at 2K as shown in the static temperature contour plot.

Can you suggest what is the error in it?

hi
i think its better for you to input the constant surface temperature as the boundary condition term.
best regards
Ali
