Edges numeration issues in Gambit
Hello everyone,
I have a serious problem with a mesh in Gambit (I know Gambit is an obsolete sw but I have to use it). I have to perform an optimization procedure with modeFRONTIER that involves Catia v5r19 (2-D geometry), Gambit 2.3.16 (mesh), Fluent 6.3.26 (CFD solver). I tried to import the geometry in Gambit in the format .igs or .stp (I think it's the same) and then, since the optimization procedure is automatic, the mesh is made with a journal. The big problem is that when the geometry varies Gambit imports the .igs (or .stp) edges with different numeration. This causes an error in the Gambit journal because the edges numeration do not match. Due to this problem I can't perform the optimization procedure because I haven't an "universal" Gambit journal. I really hope someone can help me. Thank you.
