Accumulation of particles inside the computational domain
 

Hello everybody,

I am studying the particle deposition in a filter media and I need to consider the accumulation of the particles among the fibers.

I am using the Discrete Phase Model (DPM), but in this approach the particles "disappear" of the domain.

Does anybody know if Discrete Element Method (DEM) considers this situation? Or if there is another approach that considers this?
