Hi guys,

would appreciate any help you can shove my way cause i need it baaaadly..

so, as stated, i'm dealing with a 2D unsteady convection problem in the form of a brass bar submerged in a channel with oil..

oil is flowing at a steady speed of 0.04m/s around the bar which is preheated at 450 degrees Celsius.

the problem is, i simply can't manage to get a reasonable temperature field solution because when I look at temperature distribution at the initial moment i get a situation where all the temperatures are equal, for the bar and for the oil..
the other situation is i get a temperature for the brass bar but only on the wall of the bar.

here is a pic

thanks anyone
