Hi
In CFD theory (CFD by anderson), I have read that to model a PDE and its numerical solution requires the knowledge of whether the PDE is hyperbolic, parabolic, elliptic, or mixed. It is said that each type of equation requires its own numerical method to solve. How does fluent incorporate these type of issues. There is a basic code. How does that code handle numerous PDE types. Thank you. Regards Hamed |
