Geethu g is on a distinguished road
hello,

I am new in fluent. i want to simulate flow of water from one tank to another tank through membrane. the membrane is fixed between the two tanks. total height of tanks is 4m and that of membrane is 1m. membrane is provided in the bottom portion. left tank is filled with water upto 3m only. this water should move to next tank through membrane. but i can't simulate this flow. how to do it? i have used pressure based solver, vof model and laminar model. after simulating ,the result shows that the left tank initially filled by full level water but that is not correct. how to change this???....is there any patching error?..can anyone help me?....i want step by step procedures of basic simulations so that i can check it with my steps...
