Hi everybody,
I'm running an axisymmetric, density based, hypersonic case of a .5" diameter sphere in FLUENT. I've been getting good results for pressure, drag, skin friction, and wall function heat transfer coefficients, and basically everything else, except for the total surface heat flux at the wall. Unfortunately, this total surface heat flux (W/m^2) is what I need. Right now when I plot the total surface heat flux along the wall, all the values are zero. Would you guys have any idea on how I can get results from this? I'm using the SA turbulence model for now, and the temperature near the wall is much higher than the wall temperature. Thanks! |
