energy spectra

Dear all,

I'm running LES on rotating pipe flow. Can anybody share the idea how to calculate and plot the Energy Spectrum of data from LES simulations in fluent?
Thanks in advance.

Fluent itself has a built-in function to extract and plot the energy spectra.
Indeed, you should have saved your transient simulation in order to obtain the energy spectra!

Dear syavash,
Thanks for the reply. Can you please little elaborate how to follow up to save transient data for energy spectra? I've data saved every 100 time step. Will this data be used to plot energy spectra?
Awaiting your reply.

I do not think so! You should turn on "Data Sampling for Data Statistics" in the solution panel, then after some time steps you will observe some new solution variables under "plot" menu.
