Hello,

I try to study the flow in a screw compressor with Ansys Fluent using the remeshing methods. I managed to get a mesh with 1.5 millions cells but after 30 time steps the software increased my number of cells at 3 millions...

Can someone help me to stop this cells number increasing?
What settings I must change to keep almost the same number of cells ?

Thank you!

You can limit the maximum number of cells, specify the number of refinement levels, or limit the minimum cell volume.

I try that but this was the result (from 1.5 mil cells to 3 mil in max 30 time step)...in the dynamic mesh settings you can change only the skewness and the minim cell ...i choose the same minim cell from the starting mesh...
You say that i can choose a bigger minim cell? Will i fix the problem with this settings?
