Hi!
I recently configured a windows 2 nodes cluster with infiniband cards and all is working well; however, since I need to run gambit in 64 bits mode, I had to create a linux virtual machine which I think is causing some problems on the ram management. So I decided to switch to linux. I successfully installed gambit+fluent 15 in a machine running sles 11 sp2: infiniband drivers are ok and fluent and gambit run ok; compiled udfs are working too. I'm planning to install fluent on the second node too, in same directory as the first machine. Firewalls will be disabled, as it's a closed network. In windows I had to share the working directory: do I have to share that folder in linux too, by exporting the working directory and by running nfs (with same directory structure)? As I know I have also to create passwordless ssh logins (I think rsh is more difficult to setup). Other things I have to do to connect the second node? Thank you Daniele |
