Hello everyone,
I'm trying to simulate a single shot pulse detonation engine with CH4-O2 and have been getting these pressure oscillations behind the reaction wave. This is meant to be a point discontinuity as seen in the validation results from He and Karagozian, and I suspect it is due to the spatial or time discretization, but I have not been able to resolve this. Solution method: Coupled pressure-velocity solver Least-Squares Cell based (Have tried the other two) Standard pressure discretization (I've also tried Body Force Weighted and PRESTO!) 3rd order MUSCL for all others 2nd Order Implicit Transient Formulation. |

Hey hi,
We are doing a project on designing a PDE. Please can you help regarding how a PDE is designed? |
