problem with heat transfer modeling!

Default problem with heat transfer modeling!

Hey

I have a comic problem with heat transfer modeling!
I'm modeling heat transfer in electronic components with using "source term" option!
But when the residuals converges the temperature of component is more than 1000K but temperature of surrounding air is same inlet temperature(about 300K)

What do you think?
Where do you think I am wrong?

Any idea friends?
I'm really confused! I'm checked very things but the problems exists yet!

The pressure and velocity contours are logical but temperature is irrational!

Also I Solved a simple problem (a triangle with heat flux BC) but a same problem happens! the pre. & velocity & temperature contours attached!

any reply could help me to solve the problem!

Hi,

As you pointed out, this is a conjugate heat transfer (CHT) problem. make sure to select "coupled" option in thermal tab of the solid wall boundary condition.

It's ok! I'm checked the problem with coupled and I'm ensure about create shadow wall but the problem exist yet!

Is your flow laminar or turbulent? it can really make difference!

In main case, there is a simple fan that rotating with angular velocity equal 2000 rpm and I'm using k-epsilon for turbulence model

check the value u have given,,.. for example if u want to give 3000Watts and the volume of the heat source is 2metercube then , the value to be entered for heat source should be 3000/2 =1500 . it can also happen if u didnt give air flow or u have defined all walls as adiabatic
