Meshing, Geometry and Particle Dispersion

Hi,

I am new to FLUENT (and to some extent Fluid Dynamics!) at the moment and hoping to use it in order to replicate a room with a variety of objects in. It is a relatively new project that I have found no case study about before due to its nature which I cannot discuss in specifics as it is company related.

However I am just wondering about the feasibility of creating a room (meshing), modelling the fluid flow with in the room and also about deposition of particulates on objects (Using UDFs potentially?) within the room. Finally how would one go about modelling the fluid dynamics within the room at first? Is this something done by experimental validation etc? Sorry if my q's are a little elementary for you guys.

Any advice would be appreciated!

Thank you for your time.
