JohnnyB is on a distinguished road
Hello,

I try to study a vertical axis wind turbine darrieus type in Fluent. I try to study in 2d and i have a problem with the reference value... i really don't know what value i must put for the aria value and for the reference length...i try for the aria H*D and for reference length the radius, D/2...

This seems right?

I must find the Cm variation and then multiply with TSR and find the power coefficient...

Thank you!
Best Regards!
