Hey guys,
I'm modelling a 3d passenger compartment and have recently gotten some weird results. I've attached two screen shots. I mainly just use velocity pathlines and velocity contour plots to view my results. As you can see from the pathlines, the flow goes in this weird direction to the passenger side from both inlets and swirls around the compartment. This is very strange, as my other simulations they worked normal and went in a straight direction. Secondly, the scale says there should be red, orange etc. pathlines, which do not exist on the actual pathlines (all blue). So not only are the pathlines all flying in the wrong direction, they don't show their true velocities : [ To verify my pathlines weird colours problem, i checked my contour plots (as attached). The range and all are the same as with the pathline and it shows the red, orange, yellow section at the incoming duct (which is correct). I'm just confused as to whether my solution is completely inaccurate (the weird flow direction, all blue) or is FLUENT playing up? Anyone experienced this before? Any comments? Cheers! |
