Dear all, I am new User, I would like to formulate the water jet ejected from the nozzle So I try to learn from this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zaoSvMt23hY the problem is, at 3:27, in this Clip "Boundary Condition >> Zone has 5 Components" But mine has 2 components, I have stucked with this problem for many days please provide a help, I attach my computer screen as a doc file |

Hi,
the problem is that you defined in pre-processor (when you built the geometry) all the sides as "wall" boundary condition (white edges). Instead, the problem is 2d axisymmetric, with a pressure inlet and a pressure outlet boundary conditions. So, go back to the pre-processor and assign correct boundary conditions. Daniele |
Create the name zone when you make the grid

Dear All,
In Fluent > General > Mesh Display, I have only 2 components, actually it should be 5 components https://confluence.cornell.edu/displ...+Physics+Setup What should I do ? |
Same issue; re-read my answer.
I suggest to begin reading tutorials about mesh generation. Daniele |

Thanks Daniele,
I do as you mentioned, now I can get 5 components in boundary conditions, but in Mesh Display I still have only 2 surfaces. I try to find the tutorial on the internet, but I can not solve this problem Thank you in advance |
