need the values of "turbulent kinetic energy" and "turbulent dissipation rate" of ammonia vapor and liquid in order to run calculations in fluent. somebody please help me to get the same.

Those values are extremely problem dependent. One of the most convenient ways is to compute them from turbulence intensity and length scale. Having gone through literature certainly helps.
Do you need k-e at inlets or as initial conditions? A popular guess is to use smooth pipe correlations. http://www.cfd-online.com/Wiki/Turbulence_intensity You can fudge the initial conditions and still eventually get a result. But you can't do that at inlets. |
